I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is! My husband and I visited many Krippen in search of the right one for our child, but came upon the AWO Krippe Deuringen after a recommendation from another parent. The staff, Alex, Mona, and Steffi, were so warm and caring, and on the first visit to learn more about the Krippe, made our child feel welcome and special to them. It was very heart-warming and from this alone, we knew it was the right place. The building is beautiful with lots of windows for natural sunlight and a bright and gentle, interior that looks more like a cozy home than a Krippe. There are plenty of toys and books, and most importantly, a wonderful outside playground with a swing, play area with sand, a little house, and many toys and activities to do. The lead, Alex, is simply amazing! She was very compassionate and understanding regarding my hesitation to push my child too soon into Krippe, and so instead let me tell her when I felt comfortable to begin to leave my child for longer and longer periods during the orientation period until I felt there was a full adjustment (for the both of us!) Most other Krippen told me they use a certain model which involves strict timelines for separation during orientation, but not this one. It was obvious from this alone, that their priority is not only of the wellbeing of the child, but of the parent also. If you are searching for a Krippe with gentle, kind, and caring staff, a warm and bright space and garden to play in, and a team that is there to make sure you, as parents, and your child are happy and thriving, I would recommend this place wholeheartedly!
